..."The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: the Japanese art of decluttering and organizing" by Marie Kondo. This is a topic near and dear to my heart. I've been slowly cultivating a minimalist lifestyle over the years, and it has definitely allowed room for greater happiness and peace in my life. Having less stuff, fewer commitments, and less need has resulted in less chaos (outward, as in the appearance of my home, and inward as well) and much more time, calm and contentment.
It's possible that I'm taking this whole thing a little far (as I am stacking dozens of books to give away) but Marie Kondo is a BIG believer in getting rid of anything "that doesn't bring you joy," and today she's my guide.
